Position: Marine Procurement & Logistics Officer

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

Reporting to: Head of Procurement & Logistics


Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the procurement of technical stores, spares, and provisions for the fleet.

· Coordinate with Technical Managers to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.

· Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.

· Monitor and analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement.

· Provide purchasing guidance to vessels and ensure compliance with company supply procedures.

· Coordinate logistics for connecting orders to vessels.

· Verify invoices and process variances with Technical Managers.

· Stay up-to-date with new product information and market trends.

· Attend Master and Chief Engineers' briefings and join assigned fleet.


Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years' experience in the maritime industry.

· Marine procurement experience, with category management skills an advantage.

· Strong market awareness and understanding of maritime supply chain components, regulations, and market conditions.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

· Commercial aptitude and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

· Procurement or marine engineering related degree or equivalent.

· Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply or an equivalent professional body an advantage.
