Anti-Social Behaviour Officer Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Lead Community Protection Officer. This is a permanent position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of community safety and anti-social behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of 8 Community Protection Officers in the investigation and enforcement of anti-social behaviour cases.
- Manage a caseload of complex cases and provide guidance and support to junior officers.
- Represent the team at panel meetings and deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
- Work closely with other departments and agencies, including the Police, to resolve issues and contribute to the 'Our Greenwich' plan.
- Carry out reactive and proactive visits, including nights and weekends, to address community safety concerns.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent and reduce anti-social behaviour.
- Monitor and inspect community safety initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising a team.
- Deep understanding of community safety and anti-social behaviour, including relevant legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly, including nights and weekends, and to carry out visits in a variety of environments.
- Full valid driving license and access to a suitable vehicle for Council business.
