At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world, together. As a Compounds Project Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project.

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a collaborative team, integrating and coordinating the delivery of main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. Our innovative approach will help different contractors work together to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's vast network of rooms.

The Role

As a Compounds Project Assistant, you'll support the planning, execution, and monitoring of the delivery and deployment of MEH offices and facilities. You'll work closely with the Compounds MEH Project Manager to coordinate project activities, manage project documentation, and ensure project tasks are completed on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and timelines
  • Coordinating project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and aligned with project goals
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting any issues or delays to the Project Manager
  • Scheduling and organizing project meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports
  • Preparing regular status reports and updating project stakeholders on progress
  • Serving as a point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and external partners

This role is full-time, thirty-seven hours per week, and is based on-site at Hinkley Point C.

Essential Experience

  • Experience with maintenance and preparation of documentation and reporting
  • Experience with Communication and Stakeholder Management

Qualifications

  • Level-3 qualification in Engineering, Business or Project-related subject
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is desirable

Security Clearance
