**Job Role:** External Sales Engineer

We are working with a family-run business to recruit an experienced sales professional. You will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities in the laser-cutting market, building relationships with current and potential customers, and achieving or surpassing sales targets.

**About the Company:

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is working with a respected company in the industry. As an External Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the technical team to provide accurate product information and timelines, as well as collaborate with the design team to ensure optimal product specifications and quality.

**Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and generate new business opportunities in the laser-cutting market

* Build and maintain relationships with current and potential customers for long-term loyalty

* Qualify leads and convert prospects into lasting clients

* Achieve or surpass sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)

* Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules for laser-cut parts

**Requirements:

* Experience working within an engineering/manufacturing environment selling technical solutions

* A knowledge of CAD software being able to interpret designs

* A clear communicator with strong written, verbal, and presenting skills

* Ability to plan your own workload effectively ensuring a steady flow of meetings

* Knowledge of laser profiling and fabrication is preferred

**Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work with a reputable company in the industry and develop your skills and expertise as a sales professional.
