About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Youth Development Professional to support young individuals in a residential setting.

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing daily care and guidance, fostering a safe and nurturing environment for young people to develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people with their daily lives, offering guidance and ensuring their well-being.
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where young individuals can thrive.
  • Assist with daily activities, including educational and recreational pursuits.
  • Implement individual care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
  • Support young people in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure consistent and high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young people and making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach to support young individuals' emotional and social needs.
  • Experience in a similar role or working with young people in a residential setting is advantageous.
  • A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

Location: Sheffield, Chesterfield

Pay Rate: Estimated £12-£15 per hour
