SEN Teacher - Alternative Provision Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our outstanding alternative provision in Tees Valley. This unique role offers the opportunity to work with pupils who require tailored educational support in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with complex needs, SEMH, ASD, or other learning difficulties
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and work effectively within a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Be adaptable, patient, and empathetic, with a commitment to supporting pupils' emotional and academic growth
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with complex needs, SEMH, ASD, or other learning difficulties
  • Strong understanding of EHCPs and personalised learning plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
