Industrial Inspection and Maintenance Expert

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Inspection and Maintenance Expert to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. As an Industrial Inspection and Maintenance Expert, you will play a key role in safely delivering high-quality plant inspection and development support to chemical process and decommissioning plants on the Sellafield site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct plant inspections/condition assessments using visual and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques as part of a highly motivated team.
  • Produce quality technical reports of findings/results together with recommendations for continued safe operation throughout the plant lifecycle.
  • Support the development of proposals for inspection and monitoring techniques, and tooling to access difficult/harsh environments.
About the Role

This role requires a strong understanding of industrial inspection and maintenance principles, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills. The estimated annual salary for this position is £32,000-£42,000, depending on experience. We also offer an attractive package of benefits, including:
