Site Engineer (Civil/Highway)

Job Summary:

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of civil and highway engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
  • Site Setup: Conduct site surveys, set out structures, and level the site.
  • Quality Control: Verify drawings, quantities, and calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Material Management: Assist in selecting and purchasing materials for construction projects.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control and safety matters on site.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve technical difficulties and other site-related issues.
  • Teamwork: Develop strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Cost Management: Identify and mitigate potential cost risks.
  • Innovation: Bring innovative ideas to improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer.
  • Industry-relevant qualification.
  • Familiarity with FRC works and drainage is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and Microsoft packages.
  • Self-motivated and able to organize yourself.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
