Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Main Civil Engineering Contractor, in the Midlands region. The successful candidate will work on a variety of civil engineering projects, specializing in infrastructure, highways, and rail-based projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, with experience in managing on-site staff and preparing valuations, cost reports, and subcontract schedules. Chartered or working towards chartership is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of valuations and applications for payment
  • Prepare and manage cost reports for clients
  • Develop and implement subcontract and material procurement schedules
  • Administer subcontractor and supplier accounts
  • Manage contract administration, including change management and register maintenance
