Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Assistant Director, Communities at Bargain Books. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are supported and developed.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or retail management, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the implementation of sales strategies and promotions
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ordering stock as needed
  • Managing a team of staff members to ensure they are providing excellent customer service
  • Developing and implementing training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge

Estimate salary: R450,000 - R600,000 per annum, depending on experience.
