About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Services Manager to join our Front of House team at Van Dyk by Wildes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that their experience is memorable and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front of House team, ensuring that all hotel standards and procedures are met.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for delivering world-class service and maintaining high standards.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectives.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback, making recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests and staff, maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.

About You:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and leading a high-performing team. You will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with excellent communication and leadership skills. You will be a natural problem-solver, able to think on your feet and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Guest Services Manager or similar role in a similar size hotel.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Knowledge of hotel systems and procedures, with the ability to train others to use them confidently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
