Research Assistant Opportunity at Global Disability Innovation Hub

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to join our team at Global Disability Innovation Hub. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team across a diverse portfolio of projects, working with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive innovation and impact.

About the Role

The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research, analyzing data, and producing high-quality reports and insights. You will work closely with our team to design and deliver training and workshops, host speaker sessions, and track the impact and reach of our research and delivery.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong background in research and analysis. You will have experience working on research projects and/or practice-focused research in a related field, and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent work experience in an area relevant to disability inclusion, accessibility, and assistive technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including literature reviews and data analysis
  • Produce high-quality reports and insights, including infographics and data visualizations
  • Design and deliver training and workshops, host speaker sessions, and track the impact and reach of our research and delivery
  • Work closely with our team to support multiple projects across the Research and Delivery Portfolio
  • Independently manage your workload and deliver results in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent work experience in an area relevant to disability inclusion, accessibility, and assistive technology
  • Experience working on research projects and/or practice-focused research in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and insights
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
