We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to a young client living in their family home in Hartfield.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the client with their bedtime routine, clinical interventions, and administering medication.

Shift Pattern:

We offer flexible full-time and part-time positions with a minimum commitment of two shifts per week.

  • Type: Wake Nights
  • Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 19:30 – 07:30

Additional shifts are available Monday through Sunday, and we encourage candidates with flexibility to offer availability at short notice.

As a Care Assistant with Superior Healthcare, you will have access to thorough paid training, supported induction, and annual paid refreshers.

Responsibilities:

  • Closely observe and monitor the client for any clinical intervention required.
  • Be fun, friendly, and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
  • Be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • Show the client dignity and respect when providing personal care.
  • Regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care.

Requirements:

  • 6 months professional care experience in the UK based in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker, including experience with clients who have a fitted tracheostomy.
  • A full UK drivers licence with access to your own vehicle.
  • Flexibility to offer availability at short notice, including weekend shifts.
  • Confidence working with children, with the ability to make shifts fun and engaging.
