Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients, ensuring their dignity and respect are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and observe clients for any clinical intervention required, providing timely and effective support.
  • Engage with clients in a fun and friendly manner, promoting their interests and hobbies.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, working in their best interest and adhering to Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of professional care experience in the UK, based in a healthcare setting.
  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker, including experience with clients who have a fitted tracheostomy.
  • A full UK driver's license with access to your own vehicle.
  • Flexibility to offer availability at short notice, including weekend shifts.
  • Confidence in working with children, with the ability to make shifts fun and engaging.
