Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Superior Healthcare. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our young clients with complex care needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilation assistance, and medication administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide close observation and monitoring of clients to identify any clinical intervention required.
  • Engage with clients in a fun and friendly manner, promoting their interests and hobbies.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, working in their best interest and adhering to Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
  • Regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care.
  • Assist with educational needs throughout the day.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of paid UK-based care experience.
  • Previous experience working with complex care clients, including those with tracheostomies.
  • Flexibility to offer availability at short notice.
  • A full UK driver's license with access to your own vehicle.
  • Confidence working with children, with the ability to make shifts fun and engaging.
