The Role: Deputy Store Manager
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Store Manager to join our team at the Bluewater store. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving store performance and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Your Responsibilities- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and brand ambassadorship.
- Support the Store Manager in identifying team strengths and development needs, contributing to succession planning for both the store and the wider business.
- Manage and motivate the store team, ensuring they are engaged, knowledgeable, and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with operational administration tasks and ensure timely communication.
- Provide support to other local branches as required.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines and ensure a commercially effective presentation for the store.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working variable days and hours across the week.
- Proven experience in managing a team within a retail environment.
- A passionate, driven individual with resilience and a can-do attitude.
- Strong decision-making abilities and a sense of ownership to take responsibility.
- A track record of delivering exceptional customer service both personally and through your team.
- Confident in taking ownership with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
