About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resilience Specialist to join our team at Change Grow Live Nottinghamshire. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults and young people in our supported accommodation who are struggling with substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage and Support Young Adults and Young People: Provide them with information, advice, and interventions to support their health and wellbeing needs, including facilitating access to clinical interventions.
  • Complete Comprehensive Assessments: Develop individual care plans that incorporate integrated care and transition support to address substance use and related outcomes.
  • Safeguarding and Advocacy: Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding principles and information governance processes, advocating for and empowering young adults and young people to access partnership and community services.
  • Wellbeing and Resilience: Enable young adults and young people to lead safe, healthy, and purposeful lives, reducing risk and increasing resilience.
About You
  • Experience Working with Young People: Excellent knowledge of the issues they face, with a strong understanding of substance use and related concerns.
  • Safeguarding and Knowledge: Knowledge of safeguarding concerns related to children and young people, including the Fraser Competence framework.
  • Substance Use and Treatment: Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues, based on evidence-based practice and relevant best practice guidance.
  • Team Working and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, with a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
