We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Consultant to join our Store Development Team in Luton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of new stores, extensions, and modernisations of our existing store portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee construction projects in the Northern Home Counties, ensuring the highest standards and deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the construction of new stores, extensions, and modernisations of our existing store portfolio, ensuring compliance with our corporate specification and H&S requirements.
  • Manage relationships with key collaborators, including internal and external parties throughout the project cycle.
  • Work proactively to address potential obstacles and plan costs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in either Engineering or Construction.
  • Proven experience in a Construction/Engineering related role.
  • PC literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • A professional and refined negotiator with sound commercial acumen and judgment.
  • Highly organised with a pragmatic and analytical approach.
  • A strong multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines.
  • An excellent communicator who can communicate confidently with people at all levels of the business.
  • A team player who can perform tasks independently using their own initiative.
  • RICS, CIOB, or MAPM accreditation is desirable, or working towards qualifications.
  • Experience in another retailer is desirable.
  • Driving License is essential for this role.
