Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in Tyne and Wear. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Liaison: Primary contact for customer quality-related inquiries and concerns.
  2. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to identify and resolve quality issues.
  3. Corrective Actions: Implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  4. Quality Data Analysis: Analyze quality data to drive process improvements and optimize quality outcomes.
  5. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Audits and Compliance: Perform regular internal and external audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  7. Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and delivery performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified or time-served experience in a quality role.
  • Able to access site Monday to Friday.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quality Engineer.

Estimated Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
