About the Role

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at our independent mental health hospital. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide specialist psychology services to support the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

You will work with patients who may be experiencing emotional distress, depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, psychosis, and other conditions. Your role will involve selecting, administering, and interpreting psychometric and neuropsychological tests, as well as liaising with referrers, GPs, and other professionals to develop and review care and risk management plans.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have an up-to-date knowledge of current developments in professional and clinical practice. You will also possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to deliver complex and sensitive information and make psychological interventions with carers or families as appropriate.

You will be a dedicated and insightful professional, focused on the wellbeing of our patients. Your ability to keep accurate records and supervise the work of other multi-disciplinary staff will be essential in this role.
