Senior Physiotherapist Position

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to join the pain team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with chronic pain conditions.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the pathophysiology of chronic pain conditions and be able to educate and advise individuals presenting with these conditions. Regular team meetings and joint working with colleagues are also part of this role, providing opportunities for supervision and training.

Main Responsibilities
  • To work within trust clinical guidelines and have a good working knowledge of national and local standards, monitoring own and others quality of practice as appropriate.
  • To comply with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Standards of proficiency for Physiotherapists.
  • Mentorship and supervision of junior staff members.
  • Supporting and leading the day-to-day running of the pain physiotherapy service.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive benefits package, including flexible working opportunities and access to training and development programs.
