Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineering Manager to join our team at MHR. As a key member of our engineering services department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the successful delivery of cloud-based projects.
  2. Work closely with senior management, architecture team, and other stakeholders to align cloud platform to the architecture and technical roadmaps.
  3. Produce quarterly plans for the cloud platform team and support execution of these plans.
  4. Collaborate with architects when rolling-out new concepts.
  5. Monitor team performance, set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
  6. Drive a generative culture of high cooperation where learning is the heart of everything we do.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and seek opportunities to apply them to the team's work.
Requirements
  1. Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of software professionals.
  2. Good understanding of what software architecture looks like.
  3. Proficient in Agile development methodologies.
  4. Understanding of Continuous Delivery best practices.
  5. Awareness of security requirements for handling sensitive information.
  6. A team-oriented individual with a passion for engineered excellence.
  7. A passion for innovation, people management and improvement.
