About the Role

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Adult Eating Disorders Service. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide specialist advice and maintain accurate clinical records
  • Work autonomously within the multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of care
  • Contribute to the training and development of the team
  • Ensure robust governance systems are in place
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with a master's degree and a strong background in mental health. You will also need to be a nurse prescriber with a broad expert knowledge base and clinical competence.

Please note that this role is subject to the new working hours policy, with a reduction in working hours from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024. However, this will not affect your pay.
