This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The role offers flexibility across core business hours.

To be eligible for this post, you must have a live UK NMC Pin.

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Adult Eating Disorders Service. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and treatment to individuals with mental health needs.

The Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patients, planning and implementing care, providing specialist advice, and maintaining high standards of clinical record-keeping. They will also work autonomously within the multidisciplinary ward team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered.

The ideal candidate will have a broad expert knowledge base, be able to provide professional advice, and demonstrate the ability to work professionally within a wider team. They will also have high-level communication skills and contribute to the training, learning, and development of the multidisciplinary team.

As part of our commitment to reducing working hours, we are introducing a 37-hour working week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff.
