Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of warehouse staff to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff to achieve productivity and service KPIs
  • Lead a team of team leaders and warehouse operatives in their daily workload
  • Ensure orders are picked, marshalled, unloaded, and loaded in line with customer specifications
  • Maintain the highest levels of health, safety, and hygiene in the warehouse
  • Develop and implement effective communication briefings to keep the team informed
  • Manage the goods inwards area to ensure quick and efficient receipt of goods
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve team performance
  • Monitor and control sickness absence levels and time and attendance
  • Enforce and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment
  • Good working knowledge of a warehouse and logistics operation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of health and safety
  • Ability to motivate and manage a large team
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
