**Job Title:** Autism Care Assistant
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an Autism Care Assistant to join our team at Sugarman Health & Wellbeing. This role involves supporting an individual with autism, schizophrenia, and challenging behaviors in their own home in Doncaster.
The successful candidate will work on a 4:1 basis and have a keen interest in video games and enjoy listening to dance music. They will also have excellent observation and recording skills, enabling them to accurately document the service user's progress and needs.
**Responsibilities:**
Supporting the individual to maintain their physical and emotional well-being.
Encouraging independence and promoting life skills, such as cooking, washing, and maintaining their home.
Providing community support, including going into town, visiting the park, and taking the service user to his favorite bakery.
**Requirements:**
Excellent observation and recording skills.
Able to work in the UK and provide necessary documents.
Full enhanced DBS and up-to-date CV required.
**Salary and Benefits:**
The hourly rate for this role is £13 per hour, with enhanced rates on Bank Holidays. Additionally, you will receive flexible working hours, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a lucrative refer-a-friend scheme.
