AWE Plc has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sensor Application and Data Acquisition Expert to join their team in the Engineering Trials Delivery Unit (ETDU).

">About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, installing, testing, and maintaining electronic systems to meet customer requirements.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, install, test, and maintain electronic systems.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping within the Calibration Laboratory and Electronic Workshop environment.
  • Fault find, repair, and maintain existing systems.
Requirements:
  • Rélevant academic or vocational technical qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Robust organisational and problem-solving skills.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority-changing environment and be able to manage their own workload.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,640 - £40,000 per annum, depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience.

This role offers a 9-day working fortnight, allowing you to enjoy every other Friday off, in addition to 270 hours of annual leave. You will also receive market-leading contributory pension scheme benefits, life assurance, discounts, and special leave policy.
