Job Description

This role supports the Quality Manager's function and is responsible for approving all own brand specifications and artwork, liaising with printers and ingredient/packaging suppliers against current legal requirements.

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Approval of own brand specifications and artwork.
  2. Oversee the use and data from nutritional calculation software.
  3. Complete waste data information with third parties.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of potential threats to food safety.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 - 37.5 Hours

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally already be working as a Specifications Technologist/Compliance Technologist with food manufacturing experience, as well as:

  1. A recognised qualification (Ideally, Food Science).
  2. Customer Portal experience is key.
  3. Knowledge of quality control standards and safety regulations.
  4. Proficiency in using quality control software and other relevant tools.
