We are excited to present an outstanding permanent opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Medical Specialist with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers in Tamworth.

The role comes with a comprehensive package, including a salary of up to £80,000 per annum + Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 for direct applicants only.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine and be eager to take on a leadership role. The successful applicant will work 4 days a week and 1 in 3 Saturdays, with no Sundays or OOH requirements.

This exciting opportunity includes:

  • A competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum, with twice annual reviews
  • Welcome bonus up to £5,000 for direct applicants only
  • No Out of Hours (OOH) requirements or Sundays, ensuring a great work-life balance
  • Opportunities for professional development, including further study towards veterinary management courses or clinical qualifications, fully funded by the company
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university
  • Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
  • Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets
  • Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively
  • Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine
