Job Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales turnover and market share through a consumer-focused approach. This role requires a credible and professional Brand image, excellent sales and service skills, and adherence to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales and Service
  • Understand daily/weekly targets and ensure personal awareness of all additional sales avenues.
  • Keep up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities.
  • Effectively use social media to drive the business and protect the Brand image.
  • Deliver the Brand Strategy and ensure the delivery of an effective local plan.
  • Plan and implement local marketing & events initiatives, aligned to Retailer activity.
Operations
  • Plan to ensure the delivery of excellent standards at all times.
  • Review retail standards on a daily basis and ensure they are maintained to the required standard.
  • Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and associated administration are completed within agreed Company timeframes.
Commerciality
  • Manage daily replenishment and take appropriate action where necessary.
  • Maximise sales performance by utilising all commercial reports before making commercial decisions.
Requirements
  1. Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
  2. Ability to drive self-development.
  3. Commercial understanding and awareness of industry.
  4. Effective communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
