About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Editor to join our Content Commerce team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating and curating ideas and content that align with our business goals and SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Collaborate with the Content Commerce Editor to manage and develop the digital editorial team, including setting and monitoring team KPIs.
  • Support the editor in managing freelance staff and contributors.
  • Research and write high-quality content that meets the needs of our audience, including product tests and buying guides.
  • Customise content for various digital platforms, including email, and attend relevant press events and product launches.

Requirements:

  • Extensive background in writing news articles, features, product tests, and reviews.
  • Advanced understanding of SEO to ensure content ranks well.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and accessible content on complex topics.
  • Strong analytical skills to drive and improve content performance.
  • Experience in people management with a collaborative mindset.
