About the Role:
The Installation Engineer will be responsible for building and configuring units on customer and OEM premises. This will involve ensuring that all demonstration, training, and monitoring activities are carried out and recorded, as well as maintaining stocks of standard parts and spare parts on the installation vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and configure units on customer and OEM premises.
- Ensure all demonstration, training, and monitoring activities are carried out and recorded.
- Maintain stocks of standard parts and spare parts on the installation vehicles.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used are maintained in good working order.
- Work with Installation Co-ordinators to manage territories.
- Observe and practice all Health & Safety Regulations issued by the company and those of the companies in which you work.
- Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Provide feedback to the company on technical changes required, sales opportunities, and competitor information.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferable, but all installation training will be provided.
- Experience of hand and power tools.
- P601 LEV Qualification is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly at all levels in this customer-facing role.
- Basic knowledge of electrics is preferred, with 3-phase being advantageous.
- IPAF Licence would be an advantage, but can be put through training.
- Pasma Qual would be an advantage, but can be put through training.
- Confined space training would be an advantage, but can be put through training.
- Accurate and timely administration/reporting.
