We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Music Educator to join our team at Step Teachers, based in North London and East London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified music teacher to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per year

About the Role

This role requires a dynamic and passionate music teacher who can plan and deliver engaging curriculum-aligned music lessons that support students' technical and theoretical growth. The successful candidate will have experience teaching music at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels, and be able to develop individualised learning plans to support each student's unique talents and potential.

The ideal candidate will be able to promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment where creativity and confidence can thrive, and organise performances and other musical events to showcase student progress.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for engaging students in a supportive and inspiring musical journey
  • Experience teaching Music at both KS3 and KS4 level
  • Enhanced DBS
