Join us at GP World Limited as a Phlebotomy Specialist, where you will play a vital role in our Health Check Services. This exciting opportunity involves working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with a focus on phlebotomy.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced individual who has worked with blood sampling procedures for at least one year. Your main duties will include:
- Re-confirming participant details before appointment commencement
- Completing height, weight, and waist measurements, taking heart rate and blood pressure checks, and inputting results data into the system
- Drawing two blood samples, labelling, and storing them correctly
- Checking the welfare of participants throughout the appointment and escalating if necessary
Our Health Check Services cater to 600,000 participants over the age of 18, operating seven days a week from 08:15 to 16:45 to ensure maximum accessibility. We offer a competitive salary of £18-25 per hour, depending on experience.
