Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Planning Officer to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Construction. As a Planning Officer - Obligations Research, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our planning obligation database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze historic planning agreements and finance reports to reconcile information in the planning obligations database.
  • Utilize professional judgment to verify that S106 contributions have been used in accordance with the terms of the legal agreement.
  • Input accurate data into the County Council's planning obligation database's Legal Agreements Module.
  • Monitor and comply with planning obligations, ensuring that all terms and conditions are met.
  • Research, analyze, and report complex data to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of relevant planning legislation and regulations.
  • Familiarity with S106 legal agreements and the planning system.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
