We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Leader & Systems Integrator Digital Engineering Evaluation Capability Principal to join our team at QinetiQ Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and IT systems integration expertise to enable our projects to meet their business objectives.
The Role
As a Technical Leader & Systems Integrator Digital Engineering Evaluation Capability Principal, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical leadership and management of the project and programme engineering and technical teams.
- Delegating tasks to suitably qualified personnel and acting as a technical leader delivering high-quality technical outputs.
- Embedding systems engineering methodologies in programme technical delivery and ensuring consistency of technical processes, methods, and tools.
- Making key decisions on the selection and advice on technical solutions, especially in respect to IT systems.
- Managing customer requirements and system requirements, production, and the update of the technical delivery plan and management of associated artefacts throughout the engineering project lifecycle.
This is a full-time position based at our Bristol or Farnborough site with a hybrid working arrangement.
Essential Experience:
- Extensive IT systems design, development, integration, and verification/validation experience.
- Experience of cloud computing concepts and system engineering toolsets.
- A strong knowledge of engineering governance and the ability to articulate the technical scope of the project to stakeholders.
