QinetiQ Limited is seeking a highly skilled Technical Leader and Systems Integrator Digital Engineering Evaluation Capability Principal to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide technical leadership and IT systems integration expertise to enable our projects to meet their business objectives.
About the RoleAs a Technical Leader and Systems Integrator Digital Engineering Evaluation Capability Principal, you will work in partnership with our Deputy Chief Engineer Digital, Project and Programme Management to provide technical leadership and IT systems integration expertise. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day leadership and management of the Project and Programme engineering and technical teams with a focus on the overall IT systems solution.
- Delegating tasks accordingly to suitably qualified personnel and acting as a Technical Leader delivering high-quality technical outputs.
- Embedding Systems Engineering methodologies in programme technical delivery and ensuring consistency of technical processes, methods, and tools to meet project requirements.
- Making key decisions on the selection and advice on technical solutions, especially regarding IT systems.
- Managing customer requirements and system requirements, producing and updating the Technical Delivery Plan and managing associated artefacts throughout the engineering project lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Extensive IT systems design, development, integration, and verification/validation experience.
- Experience of Cloud computing concepts and system engineering toolsets.
- A strong knowledge of engineering governance and the ability to articulate the technical scope of the project to stakeholders.
