Finance Manager Job Description

Pursuit Resources Group is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead the finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations to the Directors.
  • Oversee the production of statutory annual accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cash flow projections and reporting.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns.
  • Coordinate company payroll and pensions for full-time employees, contractors, and self-employed staff.
  • Develop and implement budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Supervise the purchase ledger clerk and ensure efficient financial processes.
  • Contribute to improving financial awareness and capability across the organization, promoting a culture of empowered budget holders.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to minimize impact on the organization.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably with ACCA, CIMA part or full qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
