Pursuit Resources Group is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead the finance function and provide strategic financial guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations to the Directors.
- Oversee the production of statutory annual accounts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain accurate cashflow forecasts and reports to inform business strategy.
- Manage the preparation and submission of VAT returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
- Coordinate the company payroll and pensions for full-time employees, contractors, and self-employed staff.
- Develop and implement budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
- Supervise the purchase ledger clerk and ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Contribute to improving financial awareness and capability across the organization, promoting a culture of empowered budget holders.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to minimize impact on the business.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably with ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
