About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Counsellor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Pastoral Counsellor, you will work closely with students, staff, and families to provide emotional support and help students overcome personal challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students facing emotional, social, or behavioural difficulties.
- Develop and implement pastoral support plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing of students.
- Foster a positive and safe environment for students to express their concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the school's safeguarding team to address welfare issues.
- Promote mental health awareness and wellbeing strategies within the school community.
- Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
