About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Children's Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Advocate for Children's Services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families, while developing your clinical and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in children's nursing, with experience of working within an acute hospital setting. You will be responsible for advocating for children and their families, promoting child-focused, family-centered care, and providing effective liaison with the multi-disciplinary team and other professional colleagues and agencies involved in the child's care.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the improvement of pediatric care within our trust, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to children and their families.

Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse qualification
  • Proven experience of children's nursing, including managing and improving the patient experience
  • Evidence of safe guarding experience and mentoring of students (desirable)
