Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer - Diabetes Care at Abbott, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our diabetes care products. Your expertise in electronic/electrical engineering will enable you to investigate and resolve complaints related to medical device product returns.
Working closely with the Complaints Investigation Team Manager and other cross-functional teams, you will recommend changes to improve product reliability and manufacturing yield. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting complaint returns to determine root causes of failures using various electronics equipment and software applications
- Ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of the processing and documentation of any activities carried out
- Translating engineering investigation methodologies into procedures executable by the Complaint Handling Group and qualifying new procedures/equipment as necessary
- Monitoring product trends, linking this to customer observations and investigating to root cause
Salary and Benefits:
