Quality Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our R&D and Manufacturing team at a leading scientific device manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with 3+ years of experience to progress their career and take ownership of quality assurance operations.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Developing, writing, and owning production, manufacturing, and supply chain quality processes.
  • Creating and maintaining product testing standard operating procedures.
  • Analyzing quality-related data points, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Overseeing incoming product quality, processing returns, and scrappages, with a focus on root cause analysis and prevention.
  • Contributing to the development of our Quality Management System with a goal of achieving ISO:9001 accreditation.

Essential Requirements:

  • HNC, HND, Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably with mechanical-based products.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Sage200, SAP-B1, or similar integrated ERP systems.
  • Excellent time management skills with multiple projects and tasks.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, plus benefits, including a bonus, company contributory pension, death in service insurance, and 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays.
