About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague in Burgess Hill. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and operational goals, and contributing to a positive and inclusive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and operational goals, including maintaining a high level of store presentation and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer shopping experience.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding among colleagues and customers.
  • Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere and promoting Tesco's values.
  • Be knowledgeable about store performance, understanding the part you play and what we need to do together to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink, and deliver profit.
  • Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
  • Be yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and always following our policies.
