Shropshire Homes Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our Technical Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping our core housing range and driving innovation in modern methods of construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret instructions from Heads of Department, Design Manager, and Drawing Office Manager regarding the production of house type drawing packages.
- Ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with building regulation standards, planning policy, and NHBC standards.
- Production of Designers Risk Assessments and coordination of consultants Designers Risk Assessments.
- Discharge of building control related conditions to achieve NHBC National House Type Approvals.
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements and Shropshire Homes Health and Safety Policy.
Requirements:
- Strong CAD skills with at least two years relevant CAD experience.
- Knowledge of REVIT/BIM software and processes.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft suite of programmes, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
- Knowledge of the design and planning process and good design ethos, facilitate in place making through good housing design.
- Fully conversant with Building Regulation documents, NHBC Standards and familiar with Lifetime Homes and National Space Standards requirements.
