Job Title: Building Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Engineer to join our team at Nuffield Health Hertford Fitness & Wellbeing Centre. As a key member of our Property & Facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the entire site, from the building shell to surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all mechanical plant, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems
  • Ensure all queries and issues are dealt with securely and effectively using an electronic CAFM system
  • Operate an effective preventative maintenance programme using your hands-on experience and technical skills
  • Improve your own skills and those of others to build a strong team
  • Assist in the completion of all monthly PPM jobs and complete all Building Services daily/weekly checklists
  • Manage and complete all reactive calls within a realistic and reasonable timeframe
  • Understand COSHH regulations and guidelines and assist with the ownership and management of all Health and Safety Management System folders
  • Carry out all Pool maintenance and complete regular pool/spa testing while on shift and complete fabric-based tasks
  • Maintain a positive, productive working relationship with all other staff
  • Assist the Operations Manager in prioritising health & safety management in the Building Services area
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a maintenance facility role
  • 3 Day ISRM Pool Plant room qualification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Excellent customer service and organisation skills
  • Team player, committed to providing a service ethos
  • A qualification in either electrical or HVAC
  • IOSHH Qualification
