About the Role:

As a Postdoctoral Research Assistant, you will be responsible for undertaking independent research at the intersection of chromatin biology, RNA silencing, and transposon regulation in Drosophila. Your primary focus will be on uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying these processes using advanced genomic techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct innovative research projects to elucidate the roles of chromatin marks, small RNAs, and transposons in gene regulation.
  • Analyze large-scale genomic datasets to identify key regulatory elements and understand their functional significance.
  • Develop and optimize novel methodologies for studying chromatin structure and function.

Salary: £38,987 - £49,076 per annum (dependent on experience).
