Postdoctoral Researcher in Bayesian Machine Learning

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at The International Society for Bayesian Analysis. As a Postdoctoral Researcher in Bayesian Machine Learning, you will be part of our Quantitative Biology group and contribute to the development of comprehensive Bayesian machine learning models for predicting drug toxicity in liver, heart, and other organs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and apply Bayesian machine learning models to predict drug toxicity
  2. Collaborate with our team to design and implement new models and algorithms
  3. Contribute to the development of new research projects and initiatives
  4. Communicate research findings through publications and presentations

Requirements:

  1. PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar
  2. Excellent knowledge of R or Python (ideally both)
  3. Knowledge of Bayesian statistics and modern Bayesian software
  4. Knowledge of life sciences and experience with drug discovery and development
