Domestic Assistant Opportunity

Shaw healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team at Glebe House. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, ensuring our service users receive the best possible care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize rooms, including furnishings, in assigned work areas
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness of the service and laundry, causing minimal disruption to our service users and their care
  • Communicate and engage effectively with our service users, their families, and colleagues, demonstrating good interpersonal and working relationship skills
  • Work independently, using a variety of cleaning products, paying particular attention to COSHH regulated products
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene within the home
