We are seeking an experienced makeup artist to join our team at Flannels Flagship store in Sheffield. As a makeup artist, you will be responsible for providing expert application of Pat McGrath Lab cosmetics products, assisting clients with product knowledge, and maintaining specialized product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality makeup applications that align with the brand service menu
- Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications, and purchases
- Maintain specialized product knowledge and reinforce Pat McGrath application techniques
- Accountable for achieving sales goals and maintaining consistent appointment bookings
- Analyze sales and create strategies with management to meet and exceed goals
- Share knowledge to provide exceptional and personalized service to customers
- Work as part of a team to create a memorable customer experience
- Manage customer feedback and use it to continually raise the bar for service, sales, and retail standards
- Adapt to challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
- Use natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest trends and expand knowledge of products and competitors
- Own the planning and delivery of in-store events
- Lead masterclasses and trainings
- Replenish stock and maintain a clean and attractive counter
- Build a clientele and a loyal repeat customer base
- Understand and follow health, safety, and security procedures
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures
- Champion company culture and values
Requirements:
- Experienced Lead Makeup Artist with a minimum of 3 years' experience
- Ability to perform high-quality makeup applications
- Confidently connects artistry and education to sales
- Social/digital portfolio of work with a significant following preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of current beauty trends and latest products
- Great communicator and able to positively engage with customers
- Well-informed and able to develop excellent product knowledge
- Sales and service expert with the ability to deliver the extraordinary
- Flexible and responsive to business needs
- Confident coach and self-driven to upskill and learn
- Able to work retail hours on a 20h part-time basis
